LODGING
Offical lodging is on site at Pinecrest Chalet. There are a couple other off site options for those who want more privacy. For offsite options, we recommend Pinecrest Lake Resort, its only five minutes away by car, and Strawberry Inn, which is about ten minutes away. There's also room at Pinecrest Chalet for tents and RVs if you're feeling more adventurous. We will check in with each party to help organize accomodations. Also, bring your fuzzy friends! Pinecrest Chalet allows pets and they are welcome at the wedding.

DRESS
Feel free to dress in comfortable clothes for the wedding. We will be outdoors most of the evening, so we don't recommend stilettos. Do bring some layers as it might get colder when the sun sets. The average weather for that month is a high of 87 degrees and a low of 58 degrees. There will be a bonfire later in the night, so don't wear anything that you do not want smelling like smoke! Friday and Sunday will be casual. Bring a swimsuit if you want to jump in the pool!

FOOD
We will provide dinner on Friday, a vegetarian dinner with gluten free options and after party snacks on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. If you plan to stay up late, bring some snacks and drinks, as the bar will close at 10pm on both nights. Most of the on site cabins have kitchens so feel free to bring food to cook for Saturday's breakfast and lunch. If you don't want to cook, there's The Steam Donkey, Strawberry Inn Restaurant, and The Serene Bean (coffee stand). A little further away, there's Mia's and Pie in the Sky. The Steam Donkey and The Serene Bean are near Pinecrest Lake.

THINGS TO DO
There's lots to do around Pinecrest Chalet!

On site, there is a swimming pool (bring your swimsuit!), basketball court, a volley ball court, jungle gym, and horseshoe pit. If you have any other outdoors games, like giant jenga or ballz-b-dangling, please feel free to bring them too. Unmarked trails over the bridge and behind the property can provide a fairly flat, wooded jaunt.

Pinecrest Lake is 5 minutes away by car. A walk to the lake from Pinecrest Chalet is just under 2 miles one-way. Rent a boat on Pinecrest Lake from the Pinecrest Lake Resort.

There are a few nice places to hike and walk nearby. Pinecrest National Recreation Trail is a partly paved, flat 4 miles circumnavigating the reservoir. Dodge Ridge Ski Area offers a harder hike up a ski trail to nice views. Continue up the Dodge Ridge Road from Pinecrest for a 2.5 miles hike. Donnell Reservoir Vista is about 30 minutes east on Rte. 108 from the chalet. The spot offers a beautiful vista point overlooking a canyon, with a 0.5 mile paved walkway and a handful of educational signs about local geology and geography.

There are plenty of bears in the area, so be safe.

OTHER
For last minute necessities, Pinecrest General Store sells a variety of food and supplies.
The nearest gas station is Pinecrest Shell.
